I always thought that with the course I have taken in college, I wouldn’t be able to find a sustaining job. I graduated from AB History and to tell you the truth, I have had trouble getting jobs especially nowadays. I’ve tried almost every job there is available but most of them could not support my daily expenses. But all of that changed when I got my Diploma of Financial Planning. Thanks to RG 146, my dreams and ambitions are gradually realized.
RG 146 is a prerequisite required by the ASIC or Australian Securities and Investment Commission before you can become a para planner. A para planner, by the way, is kind of like a financial consultant where you advise clients about their financial status and aid them in achieving their financial goals. The Diploma of Financial Planning can be obtained just by attending an 8-day course either by classroom or through the net. After the 8 day course, you are assessed whether you are ready to handle a client and give financial advice.
Actually, this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Because of my Diploma in Financial Services, I was not only able to aid clients in realizing their dreams; I was also on my way to achieving my own dreams!
